It is very difficult to make a person laugh. A comedian’s job is the toughest amongst all the performing arts. Arshad Warsi is an Indian Actor who has made us all laugh till we cry. His portrayal of the character “Circuit” from Munnabhai M.B.B.S and Lage Raho Munnabhai is my personal favorite. He was seen in a number of comic roles in superhit films including the Golmaal trilogy, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Dhamaal. However, comedy is not the only thing that Warsi excels in. Arshad Warsi’s family.

Arshad Warsi, age 49 was born on April 19, 1968, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He completed his schooling from Barnes Boarding School, Deolali in Nashik district, Maharashtra. He has been a National level gymnast in his school-days. When he was 14, he witnessed the demise of his parents. It is tough for a fully educated person to survive in the financial capital of India let alone for a 14-year-old. He faced a number of hurdles and earned became a successful actor. Arshad Warsi’s height is 5’6”.

After the demise of his parents, at the age of 17, Warsi went from door to door selling cosmetics and making a livelihood. Arshad made his debut in Bollywood with the movie Tere Mere Sapne in 1996. It was the first film produced by Amitabh Bachchan’s production company, ABCL. Warsi got his big break in 2003 when he appeared in a supporting role in Munnabhai M.B.B.S opposite Sanjay Dutt. Munnabhai M.B.B.S was a huge commercial success. Later he was seen in a number of superhit films such as Dhamaal, Golmaal, Golmaal Returns, Ishqiya, Golmaal 3 and Jolly LLB. He recently judged a reality show ‘Sabse Bada Kalakar’ on Sony Tv along with Raveena Tandon and Boman Irani.

Arshad Warsi’ Dance career

Arshad learned to dance from Akbar Sami’s dance group. His skills got him the position of assistant choreographer in two of Mahesh Bhatt’s films, Thikana and Kaash.  He won the Indian Dance Competition in 1991. He came in the fourth position in the World Dance Championship which was hosted in London, in the Modern Jazz category.

Arshad Warsi Upcoming Movies

The long awaited 4th part of Golmaal will be hitting the theaters soon. The star cast of Golmaal Again will be Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tabu, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Shreyas Talpade and Parineeti Chopra. Arshad Warsi is cast in the lead role of Neerraj Pathak’s upcoming film Bhaiyyaji Superhit. It also stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Preity Zinta in lead roles.

Arshad Warsi is married to Maria Goretti, age 45. They tied the knot on February 14, 1999. The couple was blessed with a baby boy on August 10, 2004. They named him Zeke Warsi. They also have a daughter, Zene Zoe Warsi, who was born on May 2, 2007. Recently in June 2017, BMC Arshad Warsi’s House at BMC.
