Anil Madhav Dave was from Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh
Anil Dave was born on 6 July 1956 in the city of Badnagar to a Brahmin family of Pushpa Devi and Madhav Dave. Anil Dave studied at The Gujarati College, Indore where he secured his Master’s degree in Commerce and specialized in Rural Development and Management.
Anil Dave’s Phenomenal Political Career

He entered politics during his college days. He had participated in JP movement and was also elected as the college president. He was also a cadet of the National Cadet Corps’ Air Wing. Dave joined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and worked for the conservation of the Narmada River.
Since 2009, Shri Anil Madhav Dave was the Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha representing the Madhya Pradesh constituency. At the age of 60, Dave was still working with an enthusiasm of a 25-year-old. He handled many important ministries during his time. Committee on Water Resources and the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting were excellently managed by Dave. He was also a member of the Parliamentary Forum on Global Warming and Climate Change from March 2010 to June 2010. During Narendra Modi Government’s cabinet expansion on July 5, 2016, he was appointed as the Minister of State (MoS) independent charge of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change.

Anil Dave took his last breath on 18 May 2017
Anil Dave’s cause of death was lung cancer. He had been weak since January when he was diagnosed with pneumonia. According to news reports, he never fully recovered.
